Introduction

Matthew 6 reveals the inner side of spiritual life.

It speaks about motives, sincerity, and the difference between living faith and external religiosity.

These words are not about rituals, appearances, or social approval.

They are about the soul’s relationship with God, with itself, and with the world.

This is a call to conscience, inner freedom, and maturity of the soul.

Jesus teaching the Sermon on the Mount, emphasizing sincerity, conscience, and personal responsibility

Giving Without Seeking Praise

1 Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.

2 Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.

3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
4 so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. *

These words truly come from the righteous Jesus.

Good deeds must not be done for the sake of praise. When a person helps others in order to be noticed, admired, or respected, this is no longer righteousness. It is self-interest. In such cases, the reward is already received in the form of human approval.

The Almighty sees the true motive behind every action. Do good from the soul and with joy.

Help those in need because you feel their pain and wish to ease their burden. Know that sincere kindness makes life lighter for others. Only such goodness has real value.

Distortion of Prayer and the Loss of Sacred Knowledge

5 And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.
6 But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
7 “And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.
8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
9 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

This prayer does not come from Jesus in its present form.

Servants of religion call the prayers of ancient peoples false, yet they do not know what the ancients prayed for, how they prayed, or what sacred knowledge their priests possessed.

Before the emergence of today’s religions, many peoples had teachings that were at least on the same spiritual level as modern religions. These teachings were shaped by messengers of God and by those who possessed sacred knowledge.

Nevertheless, servants of religion label the ancients as idol worshippers. At the same time, they themselves pray before images and wooden statues.

Jesus expelled the sellers of animals and household goods from the temple courtyard. Yet today, servants of some Orthodox churches sell icons, jewelry, and candles from their own factories — not only outside the temple, but even inside it.

About the PrayerOur Father in heaven

The prayer “Our Father in heaven” was heavily distorted and taken from a much older prayer.

Even that older prayer was not perfect. It was given only as an example of how a person should speak to God in his own words.

In this prayer it is said: “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

However, it is not the Almighty who allows people to fall into temptation. A person falls because he does not strengthen his soul.

The Almighty should not be asked to remove evil from us. Evil lives in the human soul in the form of self-interest, indifference, vanity, fear, and ignorance.

A soul that walks the path to God overcomes darkness by strengthening itself with divine light.

The Almighty does not force either light or darkness. He creates conditions for learning and gives every soul the freedom to choose.

True Prayer

Prayer is a sacred act.

Hundreds of beautiful prayers have been invented to distract people from the only true prayer — the prayer in which a person speaks to the Almighty in his own words.

Do not repeat other people’s texts like a schoolchild. You are not spiritually weak. You do not need to speak to God using words invented by others who introduced distortions and heresies into sacred writings. True prayer is personal, conscious, and sincere, as described in How to Pray Properly, where prayer is explained as direct communication between the soul and the Almighty.

When you do this for the first time, you may feel a gentle trembling in your body. Some of you may even cry. This feeling comes from joy — as if you have returned home after a long and difficult journey.

It is also the joy of the Almighty that you are turning to Him personally, that you are awakening, that your soul is learning to think, choose, and act independently.

For centuries, the Almighty has been preparing your soul for this moment, helping it grow through experience and trials.

At the first sincere prayer in your own words, a lasting contact with higher divine frequencies is established.

Therefore, prepare yourself for this prayer. Be grateful for the path into the light that has been given to you.

If the majority of people developed their own inner “I” and their own conscious understanding, wars would stop. It would be impossible to manipulate awakened people and turn them against each other.

Fasting Without Hypocrisy

16 And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.
17 But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,
18 that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you
.

Fasting was not meant to honor God through outward suffering, but to benefit the body by allowing it to cleanse itself. This was the intention of Jesus and the true priests of antiquity.

True Wealth and Spiritual Responsibility

19 Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal,
20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

These words were expressed by Jesus with great clarity.

True wealth does not lie in possessions, status, or material security.

The only real wealth of a human being is the soul.

Everything else is temporary.

Do not be offended that these words are evaluated and explained.

As stated in previous chapters, Jesus and I preached the same teaching before I was killed by order of Herod.

I know what Jesus could have said and what was later attributed to him.

If you doubt this, answer honestly:

How could I open the prophesied Book and take out the seven lampstands without the will and help of the Almighty?

Neither I, nor Jesus, nor Muhammad had such clear confirmation from our Father in earlier times.

And yet, you did not fulfill our covenants.

Now the Almighty has revealed His seven lampstands to you.

What further proof of His will do you still require to save yourselves?

Time of Examination

There will be no more miracles before Judgment Day.

This is the time of examination.

This is the time when every soul and the whole world are being tested.

Unite around the gift of God.

Remove the collar of satanists from yourselves.

Pass this examination together with humanity.

Do not follow the calls of agitators who incite rebellion against authorities.

Their goal is not justice.

Justice and Conscience

21 You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’
22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.
23 So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you,
24 leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
25 Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison.
26 Truly, I say to you, you will never get out until you have paid the last penny.

These words do not come from Jesus in the form in which they are presented.

Justice does not apply only to one’s brother, compatriot, or fellow believer. It applies to every human being without exception.

A person must act justly not out of fear of punishment, but out of conscience.

Every action, every word, and every thought is known to the Almighty.

Jesus never called for the killing of animals as sacrifices to God. He never spoke about hell or eternal torment in fire.

These images were created by servants of religion in order to frighten those who doubted their authority and words.

The true meaning of Jesus’ words is simple:

“Truly, I tell you, you will not come out of there until you have paid the last penny.”

These words refer to responsibility for one’s actions. Through betrayal, wars, plundering, and deception, energy is taken from other people. Those who live in this way become debtors.

After the Day of Judgment, such debtors will have to repay what they have taken. This repayment may last for many years or even centuries. It will be accompanied by inner suffering, emptiness, and regret.

Those who awaken to the light can change their path.

Those who do not awaken lose their inner spark and turn to dust. Their goal is chaos, destruction, and conflict. They seek to plunge societies into disorder.

True change does not come through violence and unrest. It comes through the awakening of the majority. It comes through conscious unification. Only in this way can the level of governance be transformed — without clashes, hatred, and bloodshed.

The level of society determines the level of officials. This happens according to the law of the Divine Matrix program.

I have transmitted the will of God.

How you respond is your choice.

The responsibility now lies with you.

Freedom from Excess and Attachment

22 The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light,
23 but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!
24 “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

Jesus did not call people to poverty, but to freedom from excess and moderation in all things.

False Trust and Personal Responsibility

25 Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?
28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin,
29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
34 Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

These words do not come from Jesus. They come from people who think in religious formulas and add distortions to sacred writings.

Read these passages with your own reason. At the same time, listen to the voice of God — your conscience.

If you do not care about providing food for yourself and your family, should God feed the family of the lazy?

Responsibility cannot be replaced by prayers.

Nature itself teaches this. Birds give birth to their young in spring so that they can grow and develop before the cold arrives. They prepare in advance. They do not wait passively.

In the same way, your children will freeze in winter without proper clothing. They will suffer without preparation.

A person must think about the future. Without this, clarity of thought is lost. That is why many false prayers were created. They were invented so that people would spend their free time mechanically repeating words instead of independent thinking. Instead of awakening. Instead of understanding. Instead of growing.

True prayer is not mechanical. It is not based on prescribed formulas. It is not measured by the number of repetitions. A person should pray in his own words. Not according to imposed rules. Not according to external rituals.

Pray when gratitude fills your heart. Pray when questions arise in your soul. Pray when you seek guidance. Then answers will come.

They will come through your conscience. They will come through understanding. They will come through the events that follow.

Conclusion

Matthew 6 does not encourage escape from life.

It calls for conscious living, sincere faith, and inner maturity.

Its message is not about rituals, formulas, or appearances.

It is about honesty before God, responsibility for one’s actions, and freedom from hypocrisy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does Matthew 6 warn against showing good deeds publicly?

Because good deeds done for praise lose their spiritual value. True righteousness comes not from the desire for recognition or admiration.

What is the true meaning of prayer according to this chapter?

Prayer is personal communication between the soul and the Almighty. It should be sincere, conscious, and expressed in one’s own words, not repeated mechanically from memorized texts.

Why is the traditional “Our Father” prayer questioned in this commentary?

It is considered a distorted form of an older prayer and only an example. Its purpose was to teach people how to speak to God in their own words, not to replace personal prayer.

What is the purpose of fasting according to this chapter?

Fasting is meant to cleanse and strengthen the body and discipline the soul, not to impress others or demonstrate outward piety.

What does Matthew 6 teach about wealth and material possessions?

It teaches that material wealth is temporary. The only true and lasting wealth is the soul and its moral and spiritual development.

Why does the chapter criticize blind trust and passivity?

Because responsibility for life and family cannot be replaced by prayers. A person must think, prepare, and act consciously instead of waiting passively for God’s help.

What is meant by freedom from excess and attachment?

It means living in moderation, not becoming a slave to possessions, money, or desires, and maintaining inner independence and balance.
