People ask for signs, yet overlook the Book already revealed. Wars are born of human ignorance — not Divine will. The straight path is open to all who awaken and recognize what has been given.

Quran 2:246–248

246. Have you not considered the assembly of the Children of Israel after [the time of] Moses when they said to a prophet of theirs, “Send to us a king, and we will fight in the way of Allāh”? He said, “Would you perhaps refrain from fighting if battle was prescribed for you?” They said, “And why should we not fight in the cause of Allāh when we have been driven out from our homes and from our children?” But when battle was prescribed for them, they turned away, except for a few of them. And Allāh is Knowing of the wrongdoers.
247. And their prophet said to them, “Indeed, Allāh has sent to you Saul as a king.” They said, “How can he have kingship over us while we are more worthy of kingship than him and he has not been given any measure of wealth?” He said, “Indeed, Allāh has chosen him over you and has increased him abundantly in knowledge and stature. And Allāh gives His sovereignty to whom He wills. And Allāh is all-Encompassing [in favor] and Knowing.”
248. And their prophet said to them, “Indeed, a sign of his kingship is that the chest will come to you in which is assurance from your Lord and a remnant of what the family of Moses and the family of Aaron had left, carried by the angels. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.” *
The Chest and the Demand for a Sign
It was said that a chest would be brought as evidence that Ṭālūt (Saul) had been appointed by Allah. Thus the Jew Ṭālūt, a descendant of the tribe of Benjamin, became your king. And you are commanded to believe in what your forefathers believed — in the locked chest.
Yet the people did not look at the inner meaning of leadership. They looked for an external confirmation — a visible object, a relic, something closed and carried before them.
The Revealed Book and the Covenant of Unity
The lesson of the chest was not about an object, but about recognition. The sign is no longer carried in a chest. By the will of the Almighty, the final Book has been revealed — as an open message.
Within it are the seven lampstands of the Creator — a Divine system of order and unity. They are not revealed through possession of an object, but through understanding the keys of the number system and the pattern by which the lampstands are formed.
These meanings remain hidden from the three realms of the world and are revealed only to those prepared to fulfill the mission of the Almighty. What other sign from the Almighty do you still seek before awakening to fulfill Muhammad’s call for unity against those against those who distort and divide?
Before ascending to the higher worlds, the Prophet Muhammad proclaimed one of the most important covenants: that the Ummah should become a united community. Tens of thousands heard this call. Yet to this day, that covenant remains unfulfilled.
Quran 2:253
253. Those messengers – some of them We caused to exceed others. Among them were those to whom Allāh spoke, and He raised some of them in degree. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs, and We supported him with the Pure Spirit [i.e., Gabriel]. If Allāh had willed, those [generations] succeeding them would not have fought each other after the clear proofs had come to them. But they differed, and some of them believed and some of them disbelieved. And if Allāh had willed, they would not have fought each other, but Allāh does what He intends.
The Cause of Wars: Human Ignorance
Wars, destruction, and bloodshed do not arise by the will of Allah. They arise from human ignorance — from those who distort the truth, divide nations, and incite them against one another, and from those who allow themselves to be provoked and set against their own brothers.
Conflicts do not begin with weapons; they begin with blindness — with the refusal to distinguish truth from distortion, light from darkness. Those who manipulate ignite the spark, but it spreads only because many are willing to be carried by anger, fear, and pride.
The Almighty could end every conflict instantly. Yet without struggle there would be no awakening, no growth of the soul. Therefore, it is not the Creator who leads people to war; it is people who abandon conscience and follow voices that divide.
And just as wars are begun by human choice, they can be ended by human choice. When people refuse to be incited, refuse to hate, refuse to take part in destruction, the machinery of war loses its force.
Thus, wars continue only as long as people agree to participate in them.
Quran 2:258
258. Have you not considered the one who argued with Abraham about his Lord [merely] because Allāh had given him kingship? When Abraham said, “My Lord is the one who gives life and causes death,” he said, “I give life and cause death.” Abraham said, “Indeed, Allāh brings up the sun from the east, so bring it up from the west.” So the disbeliever was overwhelmed [by astonishment], and Allāh does not guide the wrongdoing people.
The Straight Path for All
Kings may argue about power, but truth is not established by argument. Allah provides a straight path — to the righteous and to the unrighteous — for His justice is absolute.
Everyone who goes astray is given a chance.
But those who do not attempt to awaken others have not yet fully awakened themselves.
The path is open. The Book is revealed.
The question is no longer about a sign.
It is about whether one recognizes what has already been given.
